BASIC GUIDEBOOK ON GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION PRACTICES (Spanish only)

This document is part of the series Good Production Practices (GPP), a set of protocols and guidelines that provides directions about practices that generate a higher level of sustainability within the agricultural production system. The Basic Guidebook on Good Agricultural Production Practices provides instructions related to crop planning and adaptation; preparation of agricultural lands; facilities, equipment and tools; management and efficient use of water, soil and crop; harvest and post-harvest handling; plant nutrition; among others. By implementing the guidelines, it would be possible to increase productivity, secure rural workers’ well-being, avoid physical, chemical and biological contamination of food, protect natural resources and biodiversity, and establish a traceability system within the production sector.
