The Good Growth Partnership pioneers an integrated supply chain approach to promote sustainable beef, soy, and oil palm supply chains by aligning incentives across the production, demand and finance components of supply chain. In its last year of pilot implementation, the Partnership reviewed its supply chain approach and related programme-level theory of change, and reflecting on the effectiveness of taking such an approach to achieve systemic change and transform commodity supply chains. This work is based on the experiences of GGP and other initiatives taking similar or complementary approaches, while trying to identify how a system approach along the supply chain could work better. This report will bring reflections on the GGP integrated approach developed at the outset, to learn from the successes and challenges faced up, and explores how lessons learned, methods and good practice could be brought in to strengthen such approach. It will also set out key recommendations for GGP and other integrated programmes.
